About Yvonne

Yvonne was born in Fort Scott Kansas and currently living in Northeast Ohio. She is a self-taught photographer who explores the depth of a story. By using painterly techniques, the traditional photograph transforms into an imaginative and soulful story. This is the inspiration for the photographic images Yvonne creates. Dark ambiguous locations with rich colors lend itself to the power and vulnerability within the image. The creative process begins with capturing the carefully planned scenes where detailed digital composite techniques are then used, and the surreal and thought-provoking narratives tell the unique stories of the subjects within.
